1. Registration and profiles

Show Interest is the free opening signal. A Standard member can use it to attract attention without writing a full message. Sending an Interest counts as using the service under the UK cancellation rules, so it matters when requesting a cooling-off refund.

4. Standard messaging

A free Standard member can communicate with Gold or Platinum subscribers but cannot start unrestricted conversations with every other Standard member. This creates an asymmetric model: one paid member can unlock a conversation for the free member.

All plans renew automatically for the same subscription period unless auto-renewal is switched off. Gold is the better-value tier for unrestricted messaging. PinkCupid can request identification, investigate suspicious accounts and remove members who breach its rules. Members can block profiles and report scams, harassment or false information. The platform also publishes dating-safety guidance and keeps messages inside the service.

The company states that it does not routinely verify every profile claim, run criminal-record screening or complete a background check on every member. A visible profile, paid badge or translated message is therefore not proof of identity. International matches deserve particular caution when travel, visas, money or relocation enter the conversation.

Stop automatic renewal

PinkCupid subscriptions renew for the same period until renewal is disabled. On the website, open Settings → Billing and turn off auto-renewal. A subscription bought through Apple or Google Play must be cancelled in that app-store account. Disabling renewal leaves paid access active until the current term ends.

Switch off membership

To close the dating account, use the Switch Off Membership link in the members’ settings area. PinkCupid also accepts written termination through its help form or by email at team@PinkCupid.com. Closing membership does not create a refund by itself and should be done only after app-store billing has been cancelled separately.

UK 14-day cancellation

A UK customer who has not begun using the service can cancel in writing within 14 days and receive the fees back within 14 days of the request. PinkCupid treats sending a message, reading a received message or sending Interest as the start of service. If any of those actions occurred, the company can deduct the value already supplied.

Other refund cases

A full refund is available for serious technical failure, unacceptable site downtime or a request made before the member has initiated or received contact. PinkCupid does not issue partial refunds for unused time after contact has started.
